Opening Day

As the Kansas City Royals play their home opener for the 2008 season, fans might find something new about the ballpark.  Kauffman Stadium is in the middle of their huge project to make it a more fun environment to go to a game.  They took down the old scoreboard, in order to add the new Crown Vision, the largest scoreboard in the nation.  Another change that will be seen is the work on the shopping center in the back of the stadium.  This will give visitors and families a place to visit before and after the game.
The Royals will be playing the Yankees on opening day 2008.  They have had a great start to the season, with a sweep at Detroit and one win against the Twins.  This is a great start for the Royals, and fans are hoping that they can keep it up.  Their are very high hopes for the Royals this season, so go out and support your team.
